DIY Video: Air-Cooled Porsche 911 DIY Fuel Pressures Check For Bosch CIS K-Jetronic

Here is a detailed video explaining how to check your Porsche 911’s fuel pressures on CIS cars.

This is yet another crucial procedure you must know in order to diagnose and service your Bosch CIS K-Jetronic system. This, the subcomponent testing, and the vacuum leak smoke test you just learned will diagnose 99% of your CIS running issues. All you need is a fuel pressure test gauge to hook up to your fuel lines and you are ready to go. This video breaks down how to measure each of the important fuel pressures: system pressure, cold control pressure, warm control pressure, and residual pressure. Fortunately this is another very easy process that anyone can do.

Here is the fuel pressure test gauge I bought, S&G Tool Aid 33800. Not a sponsored post; this one has simply been good to me for many years on this car.
