Here is a quick history lesson on OE Porsche CIS airboxes, the various issues they had, and the aftermarket solutions Porsche fans responded with.
This is a video follow up of this prior blog post discussing airboxes and this one detailing the blueprinting of my own aluminum airbox.
Note that this only covers airboxes on normally-aspirated CIS cars, as these were the ones most likely to encounter the common issues they are known for.
